Sometimes, when I am on a shoot there are "moments". Moments that make your heart race. Moments that take your breath away. Moments which can be stolen and stored away for another day. Such is the beauty of a camera. This was one such moment. The light was getting low in the afternoon sky. The golden hour was near. I had Michael stand in the archway facing the sunlight, knowing full well that parts of the photo would be blown out by the intense light. I understood completely what I was getting when I shot this photo, including the lime green building across the street and the cars traveling up and down the busy city street. I also knew I was making magic. Thanks Michael (and God) for giving me this moment!

An Angel Gets His Wings

Introducing my newest angel, Michael.
Michael, you were a wonderful model, as this photo certainly shows. You rock! Michael is a member of the U.S. Military, recently returning from a year long tour in Iraq. He is an angel in more ways than one.

(He is also a devil, but for this moment, I will let him have his wings!!!)
